Dr. Medhat Dawoud,DMD

Dr. Medhat Dawoud

“Health is wealth”. This is indeed, one of the most apt sayings that one can come across. In fact, if one is not healthy, one just cannot think of working hard day and night to fulfill his or her dreams and aspirations. However, being healthy does not only mean to have a healthy body. It means to have a healthy body along with a healthy mind and yes of course, a set of healthy teeth. In fact, having a healthy set of teeth ensures us of a good digestive system and allows us to chew and digest our food well. Moreover, if we have a good set of teeth, our smile becomes beautiful and highly contagious. In fact, it can be said that teeth are one of the most precious assets of the human body. However, since no one is perfect, being the victim of some or the other dental problem is quite natural and also an accepted fact. A minor toothache can cause too many aggravated dental problems and it becomes necessary to tackle these dental problems once they start off. A general dentist Dr. Medhat Dawoud, DMD, who graduated of The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), is a good option to fight any dental problem.
It’s only when our teeth make our smile look unpleasant and negatively affect our looks, do we realize the seriousness of the situation and seek out treatment through restorative dentistry. The modes of treatment can range from braces to crown and bridge repair of teeth that have been, broken, damaged, decayed or lost. Once Dr. Medhat Dawoud, who is the member of Academy of General Dentistry, examines your teeth and the medical or dental history, you can get expert guidance for repairing any dental defect that has arisen due to accident or perhaps sheer neglect.
A crown can be created to restore an individual tooth from its damaged form to its original form and function while a bridge can be used to replace one or more teeth. The crown is created using an indirect procedure where the tooth is formed by using specific instruments and by using the impression of the original tooth. The crown is then permanently attached to the tooth and is a lifelong solution for the wearer. Implantation of bridges requires dental treatment to be performed directly on the damaged tooth and use of local anesthesia is required to help the patient deal with the pain that is bound to occur. Once the impression from the damaged spot is created, it is sent to the laboratory for fabrication of a new tooth. The procedure can take up to five to ten days and two to four appointments. A crown treatment takes around two to three office visits.
As we all know, a dental problem can be the result of any kind of a mishap, both internal as well as external. However, to avoid them could lead to aggravated situations, which could further lead to many more problems. Dr. Dawoud has unsurpassed chair side manner. He will put you at ease while explaining any course of treatment he feels may be needed to ensure quality dental health care. He will speak to your about your dental concerns and will come up with a suitable treatment for you. Therefore, following a procedure under Dr. Medhat Dawoud can lead to better results making the patient feeling confident and healthy.
A perfect smile adds to the beauty of a person’s personality and enhances his or her self confidence. A little care for your oral health and a regular dental check up routine can go a long way to ensure that your precious set of pearly whites are intact till an old age. However if faced with an unavoidable situation like a disease or an accident you can rest assured that Dr. Medhat Dawoud, who is the member of International Congress of Implantology, is sure to bring a smile back to your face.

Andrew Blaak, lawyer is for everyone

Couples marry with the intention of staying with each other and being there with their spouse through thick and thin. However, as the saying goes, Man proposes and God disposes, and at times it may happen that the couple may decide to separate legally through a divorce. A divorce is one of the most unfortunate events that one may have to undergo in their life and this will bring about some major changes in their lives. Now, a divorce is something which is unforeseen and it is very difficult to stay prepared to face any unforeseen situation. However, there is something that can be done for this and that is, to sign a prenuptial agreement with your to-be spouse before the wedding. This is a pre-wedding arrangement signed by the couple, with the help of legal professionals that list how things will be done, if the couple decides to separate at later stage due to any reasons. You just have to make sure that everything is included in the prenuptial agreement, so that things do not get complicated if you decide to get a divorce after all.

Andrew Blaak, will help you draw up the agreement which you and your to-be spouse will have to sign, before your actual legal union. A prenuptial agreement is a document drawn and signed up, in the presence of authorized personnel where the couple decides the outlines on the basis of which; they would divide the financial aspects of their marriage, if they decide to get a divorce. Division of property and assets can become a major bone of contention in any divorce case and if there are children involved in this, the division becomes all the more tricky. The agreement will ensure that you are not cheated out of your rightful claim and also that of your children, and you do not have to suffer financially after the divorce.

You must be thinking that drawing up a prenuptial agreement is not for you but only couples who are not sure about their intentions and feelings for each other. If you are feeling so, you are wrong; this is just an agreement to safeguard your interests if at all, things do not work out. It is not to scrutinize the loyalty and integrity of the couple, but just a smart move that can save them lots of tensions and worries, later on. It may always happen that someone may wind up making a wrong choice, as far as choosing a life partner is concerned, so this is the only means through which you can safeguard against this.

Christopher Purtz - How to Stretch for Health

Christopher Purtz

By the time you finish reading this article I’m sure you will find time to stretch every day - Christopher Purtz. The lack of flexibility in people is now seen to be the major cause of general health problems and sports injury and is also being linked to everything from stress, back pain, and even osteoarthritis.

It also means that nagging injuries, especially around your joints take longer to heal. The latest studies show that up to 60 percent of the general population with bad backs and knees have tight hamstrings and hips and the main cause of this is a lack of flexibility.
How to Stretch

Before stretching, dress in loose clothing and try and acquire a five-foot length of rope and tie a loop in the end. The purpose of this is to loop the end of rope around the exercising appendage to squeeze the last couple of inches of stretch from the exercise.

Find a comfortable place to stretch either on your bed, a carpeted floor or on a mat. Isolate the muscle or group you want to stretch then contract the muscle opposite. This causes the isolated muscle or group to relax straight away and when it does it is ready to stretch.

Gently and quickly stretch the isolated muscle until it can’t be stretched any further; now give yourself a gentle pull with your hands or rope. Go as far as you can and then hold the stretch for no more than 2 seconds then release, do this for a total of 5 repetitions on the isolated muscle or group.

The reason for just a 2-second stretch is because when a muscle realizes that it is being forced into a stretch it contracts to protect itself from being overstretched. If you can beat this contraction you’ll be well on the way to a greater Range of Motion.

Remember to hold for no more than 2 seconds, release, return to the normal position and repeat for the five repetitions. Try not to have any hesitations between stretches and make it as fluid as possible.

Try to stretch every day if possible, remember to:

* Work one target muscle at a time.
* Contract the muscle that is opposite the targeted muscle, which
will relax in preparation of its stretch.
* Stretch it gently and quickly.
* Release it before it realizes that it has been stretched and goes
into its protective contraction.

Below are two exercises that can be done straight away even while you are at work to stretch that tension and stress from of your body.

* Lie down on the floor with your buttocks against a wall and your legs straight up the wall. Slowly flex your toes towards your knees, hold for two seconds and repeat five times. This will loosen up your lower back and stretch your hamstrings and hips giving instant relief for tired backs.

This exercise can be done while at the office anytime you start to feel that stress and tension building up.

* Sitting in a chair and putting one leg out straight, flex your toes towards your knee, now lean towards that foot, stretching your hands towards it and letting your head and shoulders follow, hold for two seconds and repeat five times. This will create a stretch right across your lower back and neck.

A flexible body is:

* More efficient
* More easily trained for strength and endurance
* Enjoys more range of motion
* Stays balanced more easily and is less prone to injury
* Recovers from workouts more quickly, and feels better.

Your goal? To start utilizing these exercises every day and say goodbye to your stress and tension.

Frank Scozzaro - Employee Volunteer Programs are Great for Business

Frank Scozzaro

Volunteerism is a great way for any size company to give back. Whether you are a solo entrepreneur or a large corporation, an employee volunteer program is a must for several reasons. The most important reason is it gives employees a stake in the company’s giving and it can even improve employee morale.

An employee volunteer program doesn’t have to be complex and time consuming. But, it should be leveraged against other assets for giving, which determines how you build this program. The employee volunteer program needs to also have the systems in place for it to be successful and effective. If you are thinking about establishing a company-wide employee volunteer program or if you are a solo entrepreneur and want to include time as a way to give back, here are 5 easy steps to create and employee volunteer program - Frank Scozzaro.

1. Align volunteer activities with the company giving mission. Volunteering should not be done on the fly or without consideration. Creating a branded giving program that sends out your message about what you care about is important. Take the time to select volunteer activities that closely align with your giving mission statement. Choosing activities that align with your giving mission generate the greatest benefits for the company, employees and the community.

2. Develop a volunteer program structure and policies. Written and communicated policies around volunteering keep the program focused and easy to manage. It lays the groundwork for what the company will do and how it will do it and when recognizing employees for the volunteer time, it keeps the process fair.

3. Leverage volunteer activities against other assets the company has to give. You need to know how much time you can afford to give back. Time is weighed against in-kind donations, cash contributions (including matching gift programs) and loaned expertise.

4. Communicate your volunteer efforts. Communicating your giving program generates enthusiasm within the company and good will within the community. The results and efforts of your volunteerism are linked to public relation and marketing efforts both internally and externally.

5. Reward engaged employees. Nothing speaks louder to employees than appreciation for what they do. Establishing a recognition program inspires others and is a great way to say ‘thank you’ for their contribution to the overall company giving program.

6. Measure and evaluate. You don’t know how successful your volunteer program is unless you take the time to evaluate it. Yes, volunteering is all good, but you this is the only way true success can be determined. Some of the areas to measure are employee satisfaction with the program and is it meeting your overall mission.

Mary Aljian - Why incorporate a business

Mary Aljian

If you are a business owner, you probably have questions about incorporating small business. Most often business owners ask why incorporate. Many people run their small businesses as sole proprietorships for many years without considering the benefits incurred from taking the steps to incorporate business. However, as tax time comes round, you might be dismayed to see how much of your business income goes to pay taxes for a sole proprietorship. This is when many small business owners begin to consider if incorporation is right for their business. One big reason why businesses decide to incorporate is that in the United States business law favors corporate interests, giving them rights, privileges and protections that are often no longer available to individuals. This goes back to an early Supreme Court case that had an amendment added to it by a law clerk. The case was Santa Clara Co. vs. Southern Pacific Railroad, and the law clerk essentially wrote his own words into the judge’s opinion. The wording he added caused corporations to be considered as natural human beings, and gave them the same rights as humans under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. This classification has been the entry point for some large businesses to influenced lawmakers to favor legislation that helped them to grow in power and size.

When it comes to incorporating, small business owners know that this legal process allows them to take on some risk without the danger of losing all of their possessions should the business fold. There are benefits that come with all types of incorporation, but they vary depending upon how your business structure is set up.

Many businesses begin as sole proprietorships. This usually means you are doing business under your own name, although you can do business under a fictitious name, the name of your business, as well. A sole proprietorship is not a corporation, and the benefit of this is that you will pay not corporate taxes, but instead you pay taxes on the profits of the business. The bookkeeping involved in a sole proprietorship is usually less complex than might normally be expected for a corporation. Your business profits go directly to the business owner in this model. This business structure is easily formed and dissolved legally, and you have the most control over your business decisions, because you have no one else to answer to - Mary Aljian.

When it comes time to incorporate, business owners usually do so in order to lower the amount of tax they must pay. As a sole proprietor, you may have to pay both the federal tax rate and a self-employment tax, which is in effect double taxation. Many business owners want to learn how to incorporate business structures because they also want limited liability. Sole proprietors can face unlimited liability if their business is sued, and it puts their personal assets at risk.

When considering incorporating, small business owners can select from the LLC, C-corporation, S-corporation, and even non-profit status. When you want to incorporate, business owners should look into each of these formats to see which is right for them.

Transition America

Techniques To A Successful Job Search by Transition America.

Do you know anyone who seems permanently stuck in a job search? A job seeker wrote and asked for help on behalf of some friends who are in this situation. They can’t find jobs and have been out of work for some time. What’s the problem here? What’s going on if you’ve been looking for two years and you’re still unemployed? Well it can be a few things.
According to Transition America. Here are some questions to help determine the problem:

Transition America: Are you spending enough time on the process?

A job search is a full-time job. If you are unemployed, I recommend spending 35 hours a week on your job search. If you’re working full-time, you need to spend at least 15 hours per week to get some momentum going.

Transition America: Are you spending your time wisely?

Are you using multiple methods in your job search or relying solely on one technique? Are you talking with the right people? Are you spending all your time searching and posting to jobs on the Internet? Are you only answering ads in the paper or are you also networking and talking with companies in which you are interested?

Transition America: Are you using the right techniques?

I’ll briefly summarize job search techniques I’ve previously discussed in my column. It’s critical to identify your target - the industry, organization size, the position and the geographic location in which you are interested. Establishing this target is critical to your job search so you can focus everything toward that goal. Use multiple job searching techniques including networking, direct contact, newspaper ads and job boards. Always aim for a significant number of positions. You must research the industry or company and network to obtain interviews. Your resume must position you specifically for the target you’ve identified and help you to turn interviews into offers.

Transition America: Are your emotions impeding your progress?

Job loss creates strong emotional reactions. Try not to take job loss personally, particularly after a layoff. And try not to get discouraged. Most likely you haven’t done anything wrong; it’s the company that was in a financial struggle. Yet many people get depressed, angry and discouraged after losing their job. Starting a new job search is the last thing on their minds. If this sounds like you or one of your friends, I encourage the following
• Explore your talents & reassess your aspirations.
• Expect the unexpected - cope with setbacks.
• Establish and pursue new goals.
• Remember that change - even forced change - is an opportunity for growth.
You’ve got to be optimistic of your future, motivated and willing to develop and work toward your goals.

A good example of this is Christopher Reeve. After finding out that his spinal cord could possibly regenerate, he expressed hope and said, “Hope is built on a solid foundation of logic and plausibility … you can’t just blindly say it’s all going to work out for the best. You’ve got to have a solid foundation and be able to say, here’s what we’re going to do. Here are our goals.” He then “went forward and … learned a whole new way of parenting … and a new way to communicate.”

This is exactly what a person who has experienced job loss needs to do. Use this opportunity to evaluate your life and determine and establish new goals says Transition America.

Does Transition America = JL Kirk Associates? Scam artists Brentwood Tennessee

It’s too bad that Ed Wozniak and his crew continue to con and steal from people. Kirk Leipzig is Ed’s puppet master and continues to do the same thing that he did at J L Kirk and Associates.

I’m glad that Amanda was ‘assisted’ by Wozniak. Let’s see what happens in the next few months and what executive level job she lands. Her initial entry is spot on except for the part stating that Transition/Transforming America had moved.

My dealings with slick Eddie have been horrible at best. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after TA refused to return my money. After dealing with these crooks for 2 months, I realized that they don’t have the ‘ins’ with the hiring managers. They don’t have an exclusive job posting site. Their career counseling is a joke and that they were J L Kirk and Associates reincarnated. The BBB offered us the opportunity to go to arbitration to resolve the issue but Eddie declined to go through that process. He knew that he would lose. Do a search of Transition/Transforming America on the BBB site and see what they have to say. It will be updated the week of 4/7.

Slick Eddie wants to defer the real issues by blaming me, the person who paid them $3,450 (yes Amanda, they change the price for how much they believe they can con from someone) instead of conducting business as an honest business person would do. If you have a disgruntled client, you do everthing in your power, including arbitration, to satisfy that client.

Don’t let Eddie deny that they are not an off-shoot of J L Kirk and Associates. I have many connections between the two companies. The 2 easiest to explain are, #1 I have 3 emails that were mistakenly forwarded to me by TA’s VP Rick Hirsch on 2/11/08. They were sent to him by Kirk Leipzig on 2/5/08. #2. The resume template they use was authored by a guy named Tom Beal. Tom Beal is an ex-employee of J L Kirk. I could list more but it will come out in later in a different media venue.

Stay as far away from these snake oil salesmen. Look up J L Kirk and Associates on ripoff report, google them and see the pattern. I won’t be surprised by the response that slick Eddie’s puts here on the ripoff report. Obviously he is nervous about his con being exposed if he is even looking at this report. Disregard anything that this con man states.

DO NOT pay them money or waste your time with Transition/Transforming America. Tell everyone you know about these crooks. They need to be put out of business.
